SOUMYAJIT RECEIVED THE ARJUNA AWARD AT RASTRAPATI BHAWAN TODAY

However, it took a momentum when finally Siliguri’s paddler received the Arjuna Award from the Honorable President of India Mr. Pranab Mukherjee. Moments after receiving the award the family members of Arjuna Soumyajit Ghosh distributed sweets from their family sweet shop at Collegepara. Soumyajit became the third sportsperson and paddler from Siliguri after Smt. Mantu Ghosh and Subhojit Saha, who received the prestigious Arjuna Award. Smt. Mantu Ghosh also expressed happiness in the feat of this Siliguri boy.
